Hi Friends, id announced that id be doing a sketch a day project to keep my art skills growing and improving my skill. Unfortunately yesterday someone stole my bag with my entire sketch book with a year worth of awesome sketches that where due for scanning. I am heart broken and totally discouraged...however i know i will recover and attempt to redraw some of the pieces for now i will do what needs to be done and distract my self.
I was looking forward to sharing my art with you all it is a yearly tradition.

Long time no see
Hey Deviants, i have been quiet very quiet and its killing me i miss Deviant art so much and i miss art so much. I have been so absorbed in my new job as a senior art director at a new agency, after 10 years i moved from my previous job. I am doing art but not my art, its all work. I hope to keep the spark alive with a sketch a day rule i had before...wish me luck!

Its hard to put in words how much deviant art means to me, i always knew i wanted to be an artist and i wanted so bad to become great. I wanted to make my mark as an African digital artist working under extreme conditions of lack of resources. But when i found Deviant art i found my hope and my inspiration. I began to feel like i had a home somewhere where i could get the support i needed to grow and to show case my art without judgement. I got so inspired i ventured into so many art fields, i was expanded, i was invincible and i was awesome. Deviant art is not just a show case it is a lifeline to what defines art. even should they take everything you own, youre still a rich man. You will gain it all back and then some, because what matters, your treausre, lies inside of you. Your skills cant be taken from you. awhile back I suffered a drive failure to my old laptop, lost all my old work, resources and this was a few weeks before school lol, will never recover but have to come out better than ever.
